Preflight Inspector

JOB DESCRIPTION

AAA Canada is looking for a proactive Preflight Inspector to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure product compliance with established procedures and quality standards;
• Inspect various mechanical parts and components;
• Prepare inspection and non-conformance reports;
• Process non-conformities;
• Identify any problems likely to impede the smooth running of production;
• Perform audits as required by the quality system.

Skills and qualifications

• DEC or AEC in aircraft maintenance or License M2;
• 5 years' experience as a mechanical inspector in the aeronautical field;
• Mastery of inspection techniques;
• Very good knowledge of aeronautical technical specifications;
• Knowledge of aeronautical standards (BAPS, AIPI etc);
• Alertness and attention to detail;
• Bilingualism (French - English), both spoken and written, is an important asset.

Required experience

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector.
