Electronics Hardware Engineer

You will be working as Electronics Hardware Engineer and will be part of Electrification business area for Smart Power division based in Hyderabad, India. In this role you will be reporting to R&D Team Lead and will be responsible for identifying, proposing and implementing innovative technology, software and solutions by contributing with own ideas. Working on world class products in energy management, switchgear and equipment protection etc.

Your responsibilities

• Responsible for making test setups, qualifying the product by conduction functional, reliability and EMI or EMC tests
• Understanding product requirements and deriving technical requirements
• Designing electronic circuits, simulation, selection of components and prototype building
• Interacting with sourcing, contract manufacturing and making product line setup at plants
• Participating in design reviews and provide suggestions for improving the quality of products
• Working on new product introduction ( NPI ), quality and C- Change projects
• Interacting with sourcing, contract manufacturing and making product line setup at plants

Your background

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 4 years of experience in electronics product design and testing
• Hardware circuit design and testing experience in power supply, analog sensing, digital input or outputs
• Testing experience of communication circuits of RS485, USB, CAN, MODBUS, Ethernet etc
• Worked with EEPROM, RTC, Microcontroller, Microprocessor etc
• Experience in qualification of product for Reliability, EMI/EMC and Agency certification
