Your role and responsibilities
- Modify and update electronic circuits, both digital and analogue.
- Perform the selection of electronic parts.
- Carry out changes to embedded software (microcontroller, FPGA) as well as test software (Python).
- Participate in the maintenance of the design documentation, technical budgets as well as test and start-up documentation.
- Troubleshoot and analyze the failure of electronic boards.
- Actively participate and collaborate in the evaluation and planning of tasks.
- Participate in the application of the safety standards (CE, CSA, ATEX), environmental standards (RoHS, WEEE), and electromagnetic compliance standards (CE, FCC).
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor's degree in computer/electrical engineering or technical DCS in programmable electronics and robotics (TSO).
- Good analytical skills and understanding of electronic circuits.
- Ability to prototype and start up electronic boards.
- Knowledge of the following software would be an asset: Altium Designer, Pspice, Matlab.
- Knowledge of the following languages would be an asset: C, Python, VHDL.
- Good knowledge of French and English, both spoken and written.
