IS Release Manager

Your role and responsibilities

Manage Azure DevOps backlog, which involves full task lifecycle, registering tasks, clarifying needs, providing a general overview, planning, implementation and delivery Create and execute 1 year ahead roadmap for upcoming software development and maintenance based on input from each project and workstream initiatives Lead Task Approval and Prioritization meetings with business representatives Mentor and overview Business Analyst team in all topics Manage team capacity according to the roadmap for IS services development, change requests and releases Plan activities including task estimation and find dependencies between different projects to implement common solutions Report to IS Service Manager team effort spent on delivering features Become point of contact for the stakeholders in ongoing and planned software delivery matters Work in a cross discipline team, using agile development methodology that requires active participation in all team’s activities

Qualifications for the role

• You should have 5+ years of experience in Release Manager/Product Owner/Project Manager/Program Manager/Scrum Master role.
• You must have deep understanding of SDLC
• You must have excellent communication skills
• You must have strong project management skills
• You must have proven leadership skills in motivating team
• You should have experience with agile methodologies, backlog management and sprint planning
• You should have a good understanding of the technical features of your products
• You should have a problem-solving attitude
• You could have a degree in Computer Science or relevant field
