Your role and responsibilities

  • Principal Lead for ET/MSR Technology Process Automation Hardware for Power Plants
  • Creating Work packages, planning and managing its execution including own contribution to the design
  • Support the project managers in close cooperation in technical customer questions, risk management and customer claims
  • Ensuring the consistency of technical concepts for engineering, testing, assembly, and commissioning
  • Review complete project documentation for compliance, safety and quality assurance and contractual obligations
  • Apply state-of-the-art design methods, tools and technical processes in design development
  • Play a key role in developing this technical discipline within the organization for longer term competence assurance
  • Communicate technical designs and processes with stakeholders and contribute during design reviews and project meetings
  • Support the supply chain by offer reviews, supplier qualification, product specification and master Data maintenance

Qualifications for the role

  • 8 years of professional experience in design and project realization of electrical installations for process automation in larger plants. Including several projects in a leading role
  • Sound knowledge of the locally applicable regulations and directives in Switzerland as well as applicable international codes and standards
  • Very good knowledge of the EPLAN software
  • Business fluent in German and English, French is an asset
  • You demonstrate initiative, creativity, and attention to detail
  • You live an emphatic team and solution-orientated way of working and have very good written and verbal communication skills
  • You have a solid basic education in the field of electrical installations with a continuing education on a University of Applied Science ideally in the field of electrical engineering/automation
