Associate Field Service Robotics Technician - Ciudad Real

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute technical service work as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB quality and safety guidelines. Each day, you will deliver quality customer technical support and planning, and execute service work such as, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting potential equipment, as per customer order and expectation. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring customer retention by effectively communicating service work timeline and expectations.
The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite
This role is contributing to the service department of the Robotics unit in Spain. The role is based in Ciudad Real.
You will be mainly accountable for:
• Working with the customer (while on-site) to identify opportunities to improve the customer’s operations and eliminate pain points.
• Performing field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and performing analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products for which they are certified to perform.
• Preparing material lists needed for service activity and ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for service activities.
• Acting as trainer when needed, for field service associates and customers.

Qualifications for the role

• You have 1 – 2 years of experience in maintenance, commissioning and/or programming tasks
• You are highly adept in servicing, maintaining, commissioning and repairing of Arc Welding, and Spot Welding Material handling..
• You are passionate about robotics and have knowledge on PLCs.
• Vocational training in electrical, electronic or similar.
• You are at ease communicating in Spanish and English.
• You hold current drivers license valid in Spain and Spanish work permit.
• Willing to travel and to be rotationally on call 24/7.
