Marketing Automation Manager

Your role and responsibilities

Be an expert in the use of forms, lead capture technology, campaign pages, and behavior-based e-mail nurture campaigns. Consult with and support the Comms managers who are responsible for content creation, on the implementation of campaigns that are executed using marketing automation (Marketo, Pardot, SFDC, etc.) and other marketing technologies (ON24, Bizzabo, etc.). Communicate and educate the Sales teams and Comms Managers regarding demand generation processes and tools to ensure lead conversion and report on program/campaign effectiveness. Support the execution of the global campaigns locally through collaboration with local Comms and Sales. Work with the Comms managers to maintain content calendars ensuring consistent and timely execution. Maintain e-mail, campaign landing pages, and any other templates for demand/lead gen. Ensure demand/lead gen campaigns are compliant with ABB data privacy and lead capture policies Oversee marketing automation governance and establish process workflows for the wider ELDS Comms team. Own relationship with demand gen/lead gen agencies.

Qualifications for the role

  • Preferably a master’s degree in business, marketing or related field with 8 to 10 years minimum experience in digital marketing in a B2B environment as well as experience and analytical competence with metrics, measurement and KPIs. (Marketing automation experience is a must)
  • Proven performance and understanding of Pardot and other automation systems and SFDC
  • Significant experience in cross-functional, international collaboration, with demonstrated intercultural sensitivity. Can express technically complex content in an easy-to-understand way and has excellent communication skills in English
  • Experience influencing stakeholders with no direct reporting relationship, for the time being
  • Self-motivated with strong capability for independent direction and decision-making, an effective networker with stakeholders, practices strategic thinking and planning (able to manage several projects in parallel), has a creative mindset and excellent collaboration skills
  • Experience managing agencies. Paid media experience (Google AdWords, LinkedIn Ads, etc.) is a nice to have
