This position reports to
Global Operations Manager
Your role and responsibilities
• Manages the complete life-cycle of the ICOS analyzers products and services platforms to ensure optimal performance, manufacturability, profitability and customer experience with the support of the cross-functional team. • Works with Sales and other product management colleagues to translate customers and applications needs into product features and benefits • Works closely with Operations, Quality, Engineering and Service teams to ensure that the products provide the best customer experience. First point of product management contact for these teams and a key contributor to the CCRP and FRB review teams. • Develop platforms roadmaps and drives new product introduction with the cross-functional product development team. • Analyzes the key product line KPI’s and provides recommendations of actions and priorities to continuously improve the portfolio performance. • Develops value proposition, product positioning as well as pricing. • Provides guidance, training as well as technical and commercial assistance to the sales team • Works with marketing and communications to generate the marketing material required for successful product launches and support the sales teams. • Meet customers and channel partners to better understand the product performance vs market requirements
Qualifications for the role
- Passion for marketing products that solve customer problems, with a proven track record in managing a successful product portfolio.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in optical spectroscopy for laboratory and industrial applications, with sound knowledge of industrial markets such as chemical, semiconductor, oil and gas, academic research, and environmental studies.
- Demonstrated experience in portfolio management and managing marketing and sales strategies, with a collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong relationship-building skills.
- Ability to travel and good communication skills in English, with proficiency in French being ideal.
- Bachelor's degree (B.S., B.Eng.) or higher in engineering or science preferred.
