This position reports to

Engineering Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to create the design of equipment, systems, or installations or modifies the pre-engineered designs for assignments by applying standard design concepts. Each day, you will assist in designing engineering solutions, including drawings and calculations according to specification. You will also showcase your expertise by participating in design reviews and design verification and modifying the design, as necessary.

This role is contributing to the Electrification business in Service division at Nashik, India.
You will be mainly accountable for:
• Supporting the preparation of specific aspects of design assignments to meet the contractual obligations, adhering to safety, cybersecurity, and quality requirements.
• Ensuring that Bill of Materials for the project meets contractual obligations.
• Assisting technical risk assessments and implements the resulting actions in their projects.
• Participating in workshops pertaining to engineering design, tools, and processes.

Qualifications for the role

• You are engaged in design and development of MV switchgear products in the switchgear manufacturing industry
• Ability to demonstrate your experience in design and development of circuit breaker & switchgear panels with proven work experience of 3 to 7 years
• Highly adept in software like AutoCad 3D, Solidworks 3D and SAP
• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical engineering with proven experience in preparing mechanical design concepts and full CAD 3D models as per customer requirements, design engineering solutions, including drawings and calculations according to contractual specification
