Global Head of Sales and Business Development DC Drives and Power Controller

Your role and responsibilities

As a Technical Sales Support Specialist (m/f/d), you will have the opportunity to support the local sales units and customers during the proposal process from our global division System Drives. Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource in the global CoE DC Drives and Power Controllers. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions of the products and technology as well as supporting the whole sales process: from request for quotation over consulting to final documentation. In this role you are contributing to the global Product Group Low Voltage System Drives (Motion). Main stakeholders are Area Sales Manager, Product Management, global System Drives Management and Engineering. You will be mainly accountable for: • Offering technical advice and solutions on inquiries from customers/channels/Sales Specialists about DC Drives and Power Controllers. • Performing analytic and diagnostic studies to determine the optimal technical solution to meet customer needs and address complex inquiries. • Developing and maintaining new sales opportunities and resolving specific customer problems; and ensuring achievement of targets on orders, Net Price Variance (NPV), and Net Promoter Score (NPS). • Ensuring the achievement of budget goals, including volume targets and profitable growth, across all assigned products You will join a multi-national and openminded team, where you will be able to thrive growth.

Qualifications for the role

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or relatable
• Several years of experience in Motion industries with Drives and/or Power Controllers is an advantage
• You are passionate about automating workflows and optimizing processes (e.g. in an Office 365 environment)
• You are a flexible and creative person, who appreciates feedback and is willing to share experiences and knowledge
• Your work style is structured, self-motivated and you like to work in a team
• English language is a must; other languages are welcome
