R&D Test and Laboratory Engineer for High Power/High Voltage (f/m/d)

Your role and responsibilities

Then join our team as a test engineer in the high-performance laboratory.
Use your technical curiosity and innovative spirit in a new, interesting environment. Work hands-on on pioneering projects and apply your electrical engineering knowledge practically to the testing and development of future energy technology products. Constantly develop yourself, your skills and your field of work and contribute to sustainable solutions and technological progress.
• Work closely with R&D departments and international customers to develop their product portfolio
• Planning, setting up and carrying out development tests or standard-compliant type tests in our own and external laboratories
• Technical team leadership and system responsibility during the tests
• Further development and expansion of test equipment and methods
• Controlling of cost and time specifications for tests/projects
• Collaboration or management of cross-departmental projects
• Advising internal and external customers on the optimization of tests
• Supervision of student assistants, bachelor's and master's theses
• Preparation of documentation

Qualifications for the role

• Completed (technical) university degree (Master's preferred) in electrical engineering with knowledge in the field of high-voltage and/or energy technology
• Fluent written and spoken German and English
• High customer orientation, initiative, determination, self-confident appearance and team and communication skills
• Ideally initial practical experience in dealing with electrical power engineering components
