Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of projects of various sizes as well as services. Each day, you will ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by leading the project team members to achieve project requirements, deliver contracted deliverables, and meet the committed project result.

This role is contributing to the Process Automation area in Chile. The main stakeholders for this position are the Operations teams and our customers from the Mining segment.
You will be mainly accountable for:
• Leading the project team, establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing planning, monitoring and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.
• Monitoring and controlling project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials.
• Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, managing project risk, and ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued.
• Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.

Qualifications for the role

• You have over 10 years of experience in Project Management within the Mining segment, for a diversity of projects that include Engineering and Comissioning of Specialized and Automation systems.
• You have a "zero-harm" mindset, aiming to achieve quality results while preventing workplace accidents.
• You approach matters preemptively, ensuring proper resource management to meet the project's objectives.
• You can effectively manage all procedures and controls within a project's scope, ensuring they are met in appropriate timeframes, costs and quality requirements to avoid significant contract deviations.
• You have extensive experience managing projects with the use of MS Project or Primavera P6, and have knowledge of the SAP ERP.
• You are qualified to lead medium-sized projects either by extensive experience, post-graduate studies or a PMO certification.
• You can communicate fluently in Spanish, able to hold conversations independently with diverse stakeholders and teams, as well as having significant experience and knowledge of the English language ("advanced or fluent" levels).
• You possess availability to travel as per project requirements, up to 25% of the time.
