This position reports to

Engineering Manager

Your role and responsibilities

You will be part of an international project team providing solutions to our clients in the industry segments Mining, Aluminum and Cement, covering complete plant electrification, control and instrumentation and having day-to-day interaction and contact with various stakeholders.
You will be mainly accountable for:
• Leading engineering (design) activities for Installation & infrastructure plant electrification, covering the entire project lifecycle, and managing internal & external project engineering teams.
• Ensuring efficient and cost-effective execution of project engineering activities in the office according to contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements, while providing technical guidance on installation and infrastructure systems for site installation team (cable calculation & routes, lighting, grounding & Lightning, substation & electrical room).
• Monitoring production of deliverables to quickly identify and address budget deviations, supporting project management in issuing claims (new scope of work, cost impact, time impact, risk quantifications).
• Participating in design review meetings to clarify technical points, optimizing customer design concepts to reduce costs, and preparing equipment specifications and trade-off studies based on international standards (IEC, ANSI, etc.) in sales and project execution phase.

Qualifications for the role

• Minimum 3 years of experience as project lead engineer or project engineer in the field of Installation and Infrastructure design.
• Well-developed communication skills with excellent self-starting abilities and structured approach to work.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent in electrical engineering or relevant field.
• Strong leadership skills, demonstrated through experience as a Senior project or functional lead.
• Fluent in English, any further languages are an advantage.
• Willingness to travel 5-10% (from shorter assignments up to a week out-side Europe possible)
