Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products, systems and solutions within a designated market, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities and build long term customer relationships and manage resolution to specific customer needs and issues. The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions Division of ABB in the Philippines market. You will be mainly accountable for: • Selling products and solutions to customers, focusing on volume, mix profitability target for assigned business. • Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product/systems/ services offering, and align to provide a solution. Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the sales process. • Preparing sales plans using company tools. Performs regular status reviews and proposes recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls. • Identifies and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.
Qualifications for the role
- Tertiary or degree qualifications in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales in a related industry
- Strong understanding market competition and deep knowledge of market intelligence.
- Understanding or channel partnering and existing network is an advantage.
- Able to collaborate within the broader business at a senior level.
- Strategic planning and analytical skills.
- Excellent communications and negotiation skills
- Business minded, results focused and drive for growth.
- Computer literacy and competent in using SAP (preferable), MS Word, MS Excel and MS Project Salesforce are essential.
