Your role and responsibilities
As part of our commitment to sustainability and in response to the evolving global reporting landscape and requirements, we are hiring a Sustainability Reporting PMO Lead. Our aim is to further develop robust sustainability reporting aligned with the sustainability reporting strategy, regulatory requirements, and sustainability initiatives.
In this critical role, you will coordinate actions and projects across the organization globally, to ensure comprehensive integration of sustainability topics into broader reporting and performance management practices. Your will be responsible for ensuring that projects have proper planned resources and are delivered on time.
Your collaboration with the global corporate functions and Business Areas will be essential in achieving these goals, adhering to best practices, and adapting to evolving standards.
You will report to the Head of Sustainability Reporting.
• Build a robust project plan, motivate and monitor internal and external resources to accomplish all tasks in line with the agreed milestones.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team from project planning to stabilization.
• Drive process transformation plan including agreed developments (e.g. quick wins, get fit…) working in close collaboration with ABB Sustainability and Sustainability Reporting community.
• Manage cross-functional teams and compile comprehensive business requirements to be addressed as part of the sustainability reporting.
• Develop and implement project management templates.
• Lead design and planning of future process and system setup while ensuring business requirements and needs are fulfilled
• Implement a robust status reporting and tracking mechanism.
• Be the key contact for the project stakeholders and an escalation point for the project issues.
• Lead development of all project status reports and dashboards and develop and maintain task trackers.
Qualifications for the role
- University level degree – Business, Finance, Accounting or related field.
- Minimum 15 years proven experience in leading a variety of complex/ global projects, specifically within a finance or sustainability process.
- Proficiency in Lean Six Sigma and Agile project management
- Good understanding of the sustainability reporting landscape, preferably including CSRD / ESRS or GRI.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and motivate a team effectively in a dynamic setting.
- Skilled in financial aspects of project management and organization skills, including attention to detail, budgeting and planning.
- Excellent stakeholder management and networking skills to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Ability to influence stakeholder at various levels and create appetite for simplifications and willingness to change
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and reporting activities in a clear and effective way to stakeholders at various levels.
- PMP / PRINCE certification a plus
