Your role and responsibilities

As a Senior UI/UX Designer you will be a member of a team developing software solutions supporting the operations and customers of ABB Electrification Distribution Solutions and Service Divisions. You will be working in cross-functional team which operates in an international environment to solve problems of various stakeholders. This position will allow you to have a direct impact on how the future solutions used within ABB Electrification will look like. The work model for the role is: hybrid #LI-hybrid You will be mainly accountable for: • Applying user-centric methodologies to understand the background and the needs, empathize with the user and create appealing design concepts which address these needs • User Interface, User Experience and Prototype design • Building personas, customer journeys and user journeys • Testing and validating the concepts • Identifying UX problems and offering solutions while working in a quick way • Using and interpreting ABB’s Brand on a daily basis • Working in a cross discipline international team, following agile methodology Our team dynamics: You will join a dynamically growing and diverse team, where you will be able to thrive. Qualifications for the role

• Proven experience of around 3 years in IT environment, designing software UI, SaaS platforms, mobile apps, websites (other technologies are welcome as well)
• Good understanding of the overall context of business processes
• Sound knowledge of Figma
• Knowledge of user-centric methodologies (Design Thinking), experience in UX quantitative and qualitative data research and with online collaboration tools (Mural, FigJam, etc.)
• Excellent active listening, critical thinking and analytical skills
• Team player able to work in various team setups and in international environment
• Experience with Design Systems
• Experience in facilitating workshops (online, onsite) or willingness to develop in this area
