Your role and responsibilities

• Reporting directly to the Division CFO • Strategic and operational leadership and development of the Accounting & Reporting department (including Treasury and Asset Management) with over 20 employees • Ensuring the proper execution of all accounting processes for 24 international entities in accordance with corporate policies and legal requirements (based on US GAAP and Local GAAP) • Point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, internal stakeholders, and auditors • Maintaining effective internal controls (R2R, TRE) and procedures in collaboration with the Internal Controls department • Implementing, developing, and optimizing accounting processes and systems as part of Finance Transformation Programs 'Central-Finance' • Organizing Divisional reporting to the Group (responsibility for monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and consolidation of all Group companies) • Coordinating Group insurance matters at the Division level • Coordinating tax topics (direct/indirect taxes) in collaboration with external consultants

Qualifications for the role

• 10 years of relevant professional experience in Accounting, including leadership experience, as well as experience in auditing firms and international companies
• Completed degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
• Knowledge of accounting and deep understanding of accounting principles and practices in a corporate environment
• Experience with internal control systems
• Practical experience in team leadership, development, and project management
• Strong proficiency in SAP (S4/HANA), MS Office, and ideally ABB-Reporting
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and resilience
• Very good German and English language skills (English is the corporate language)

In order to comply with legal regulations, we refer to the minimum salary of the collective agreement of the electrical and electronics industry of € 5 657,48 gross/month.
