As a Project Safety Manager, you will be part of a multidisciplinary project team.

In this context:

  • You will define the overall RAMS approach of the project throughout the development cycle,
  • You will manage a team of RAMS Engineers who will assist you in carrying out the studies,
  • You are responsible for the QCD commitments of the RAMS business line on your project,
  • You support and guide the design of the train to verify and validate that the architectures and designs of the systems and products meet the contractual safety and reliability expectations and requirements,
  • You will be a driving force in proposing and defending your technical solutions to optimize safety and reliability performances to the engineering teams,
  • You manage the relationship with the customer, independent safety assessors and the regulatory authorities. You are in charge of defending the safety file in order to obtain the authorizations to put the train into service,
  • You apply the Alstom Transport Safety Processes and standards (Cenelec EN 50126, 50128, 50129, IEC 61508, ....) from the tender phase to the warranty phase,
  • You will actively participate in the development of the Functional Safety business line on the Valenciennes site and more widely within Alstom.

You are fluent in English.

Profile

  • General engineer or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years experience in the methods and tools of operational safety
  • You have experience in project management
  • Knowledge of the railway world and associated technical skills are a plus.
