Monitoring technical publications and training activities for up to 3-5 projects simultaneously, you will be responsible for supervising the work of a multidisciplinary team, including planning, coordination, and evaluation of staff. You will also communicate regularly with key players from each project (customers, suppliers, project management, "Core Teams", "Cell Meetings", purchasers, "Engineering Project Office (EPO)", etc.), monitor suppliers, assessing change requests, drafting of required technical documents, and participating in the preparation of bids. You will be responsible for meeting delivery milestones to ensure the financial success of objectives for each project on average $5 to $20 million per project.

  • Rencontrer, discuter et négocier avec les fournisseurs et les clients pour s'assurer que nous répondons aux attentes des clients tout en tenant compte des objectifs d'Alstom. En coordination avec la disponibilité de l'ingénierie de l'information, des fournisseurs, des achats, des clients et des autres divisions d'Alstom, évaluer les demandes de changement pour soutenir de manière adéquate les formateurs, les PME, les rédacteurs techniques, les illustrateurs et les techniciens de production.
  • Participer à l'organisation du personnel, superviser leur formation, faciliter leur développement et gérer la planification de la relève.
  • Évaluer les performances du personnel sous supervision. Identifier et rencontrer des candidats pour pourvoir des postes vacants.
  • Analyser les besoins des clients et participer à la préparation des offres (heures et coûts). Préparer les exigences des fournisseurs et les offres relatives à la documentation

En tant que candidat idéal, vous avez :

  • un diplôme universitaire ou supérieur, une expérience en gestion de projet ou dans un domaine connexe, une expérience pertinente dans la gestion d'employés partagés, des compétences en matière de négociation avec d'autres départements et clients, et un sens aigu de l'organisation et de la communication.

  • Manage training-related work (planning, coordination of travel, logistics courses) in accordance with the priorities, resulting milestones, schedules, and contractual commitments with customers.
  • Meet, discuss, and negotiate with suppliers and customers to ensure that we meet customer expectations while taking into account Alstom objectives. Coordinate with the availability of information engineering, suppliers, purchasing, customer and other Alstom divisions, evaluate change requests to adequately support trainers, SMEs, technical writers, illustrators, and production technicians.
  • Participate in their staff organization, oversee their training, facilitate their development, and manage succession planning.
  • Evaluate the performance of staff under their supervision. Identify and meet candidates to fill open positions.
  • Analyze customer requirements and participate in the preparation of bids (hours and cost). Prepare supplier requirements and bids related to documentation.

  • College degree or higher, project management or related experience, relevant experience managing shared employees, negotiating skills with other departments and customers, and strong experience in planning.
