Project Manager Service (F/H/X)

MISSIONS

Within our Services/Maintenance activities, reporting to the Manager of D&IS France Signalling Villeurbanne, your key three missions will be, for a given geographical zone:

  • build competitive offers to answer to customers (either internal or external) needs (e.g. modernization/overhaul of one or several electronic sub-systems, add of new functionalities, through life support of existing electronic sub-system, obsolescence management, test-bench equipment, …)
  • manage projects once offers won (customer satisfaction, on-time delivery, cost management)
  • business development (identification of topics with high-business potential, definition of the commercial strategy on these items in line with sales/front office teams, commercial proposal, …)

DETAILS

  • build (external) or participate to (internal) bids according to applicable tender process and the right level of competitiveness,
  • ensure that the project workload needs are well forecasted and anticipated by project,
  • push to sign variation orders on on-going projects, mitigate risks and identify saving plans,
  • animate and lead operationally the team (industrial, T&P, D&IS product lines, ...) involved for the tender/project realization defining priorities and interact with Service platforms
  • participate & prepare project reviews,
  • support Customer Directors in proposing and negotiating variation orders and claims,
  • ensure Transport Project Management Processes, Methods and Tools are applied on bid and projet,
  • define the most relevant topics for developing the business, build proposal and support commercial teams to promote them,
  • perform REx and develop standardisation to reduce costing leadtimes,
  • ensure EHS rules are applied,
  • some travels might be necessary.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

  • familiar with embedded electronics or/and signalling, you have preferrably a 10 year long experience in industry
  • customer oriented and capability to define strategy
  • fluent in French and very good working level in English
  • good communication and interpersonal skills, excellent teamworker
  • be able to challenge various teams and highly proactive in proposing
  • ability to juggle with schedules and changing projects
  • ability to select and summarize for direct and transversal reportings
  • agility, capability to adapt to moving environnment
  • capability to help structuring the activities
