Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Senior Project Manager in our aerospace digital services division Aeroline, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing projects that involve the development, implementation, and optimization of digital solutions tailored to the aerospace sector. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects within scope, on time, and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of aerospace digital service projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and objectives.
Stakeholder Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and third-party vendors, effectively communicating project progress, risks, and dependencies.
Requirements Management:
- Work closely with clients and internal teams to gather and analyze project requirements, translating them into actionable project plans and deliverables.
Resource Allocation:
- Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure optimal project performance and resource utilization.
Risk Management:
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively, developing contingency plans as needed to minimize project disruptions and ensure successful outcomes.
Quality Assurance:
- Implement robust quality assurance processes and measures to ensure that deliverables meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and client satisfaction.
Continuous Improvement:
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project management function, leveraging best practices, lessons learned, and industry trends to enhance project delivery processes and outcomes.
Budget and Cost Management:
- Monitor project budgets and financials closely, tracking expenses, identifying variances, and taking corrective actions as needed to ensure projects remain within budgetary constraints.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare regular status reports, project documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, providing transparent visibility into project progress, milestones, and outcomes.
Team Development:
- Mentor and coach project team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth within the project management team.
Qualifications
Experience:
- Prior experience working with customers in aerospace industry in a digital service company is preferred.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree or certification in project management preferred.
Skills & Achievments:
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects in the aerospace industry, preferably within a digital services context.
- Extensive experience in project management methodologies and tools, such as Agile (Scrum, SAFe), Waterfall, and project management tools like JIRA.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and navigate complex organizational dynamics.
- Solid understanding of aerospace industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions to address client needs and challenges.
- PMP, CAPM, or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of digital technologies, such as IoT, AI, Cloud, machine learning, and data analytics, and their applications in the aerospace sector.
Languages:
- Fluent in French and English (required).
