Job Description

As a Model-Based Design Engineer, you will:

• Write software requirements (SW Requirements) based on system requirements (System Requirements).

• Develop validation plans according to specifications.

• Perform Processor-In-the-Loop (PIL) testing, including fault injection and integration testing.

• Configure and optimize the development environment using Simulink and Matlab tools.

• Contribute to the implementation of proofs of concept (studies, rapid prototyping, demonstrators).

• (Bonus) Apply concepts related to the ISO 26262 standard, such as functional decomposition and assigning ASIL levels.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in software engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field.

• Experience: At least 3 years in embedded systems development and/or model-based software validation.

• Technical Skills:

  • Expertise with Simulink and Matlab tools.

  • Strong understanding of PIL testing processes, fault injection, and integration testing.

  • Familiarity with the ISO 26262 standard (a significant asset).

  • Proficiency in C, C++, and Embedded C is an asset.

  • Experience in software development is highly desirable.

• Languages: Fluent in English (spoken and written).

• Personal Qualities: Analytical mindset, autonomy, and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
