Job Description
Are you passionate about code quality and eager to take on technical challenges in CI/CD and static code analysis? CS Group Canada is looking for a SonarQube Specialist to enhance software quality across critical embedded systems projects.
Your Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, monitoring, testing, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of either SonarQube dedicated server or SonarQube Cloud
- Assist with developing tactical strategies, processes and procedures related to code quality
- Provide input into infrastructure architecture designs for integration of static code analysis in CI/CD toolchains
- Advise decision makers for good practices to improve overall code quality and code coverage
- Collaborating with IT and development teams
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Computer Science or Software Engineering
- 5 years of related work experience or equivalent combination of transferable experience demonstrating proficiency and experience in SonarQube setup and management
- Experience with SonarQube rules customization and quality gates definition
- Solid knowledge and experience in Software Development Life Cycle, DevOps, and enterprise development tools
- Experience in resolving code vulnerabilities and technical debt
- Familiarity with OO programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, Typescript or Python.
- Knowledge of CI/CD workflows and GIT
- Experience with Docker or equivalent container technology, an asset
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- English required, French an asset
- Excellent analytical skills, as well as accuracy and attention to details
