Job Duties and Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR professional to join our growing team. As a vital member of our HR department, you will play a key role in supporting all aspects of the employee life cycle, from recruitment to retirement.

  • Partner with managers on the recruitment process, including job description development, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and offer negotiation
  • Lead the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company culture
  • Manage employee relations, including handling leaves of absence, performance challenges, and employee concerns
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in our HRIS system
  • Assist with benefits administration, ensuring employees understand and can utilize their benefits package
  • Good knowledge of Quebec Labour Law and regulations and ensure compliance within the organization
  • Develop HR programs and initiatives to promote employee engagement and retention
  • Act as a trusted advisor to management and employees on all HR-related matters

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field (preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a generalist HR role
  • Bilingual French and English both spoken and written
  • Strong understanding of Quebec Labour law and compliance regulations
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and HRIS systems (a plus)
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
