As an Electronics Design Engineer Trainee in the Electronics Product Development group, you will be involved in all stages of the life cycle of high-voltage inverters and chargers for traction systems, from architecture through design and validation to production. You will be at the forefront of supporting the various production lines, whether in Quebec, China or India. You will be at the heart of a team of experts from all fields, and will have to use your imagination and creativity to ensure the efficiency and quality of Dana TM4 traction systems.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Your challenges


Design control electronics circuits (digital, analog and microcontroller circuits) and/or power electronics circuits (DC/DC, DC/AC, magnetic components, switching circuits [DF1] ).
Participate in the design of analog and digital printed circuits, taking into account thermal constraints and signal integrity;
Order prototype boards and test them in the laboratory;
Supervise the work of technicians and assemblers when required;
Test the complete product on test benches (with motors);
Contribute to the research and development of new technologies for electronic products.


Your strengths


Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent (in progress);
Experience in electronics design an asset;
Interest in transportation electrification, an asset;
Knowledge of Altium Designer, an asset
Demonstrated ability to document work;
Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams;
Proactive and autonomous;
Ability to take a critical look at one's own work and that of others;
Rigorous and respectful of deadlines;
Fluent in written and spoken French and English.
