The Role
The successful person will become a member of a hardworking and committed team helping to oversee the training function.

You will be responsible for:

• Implement training strategies that align with business objectives
• Develop and execute detailed training programs that meet the needs of the business
• Assess training programs through performance metrics to ensure ongoing improvement and effectiveness
• Manage online course content to ensure compliance, accessibility, and relevance for all users
• Oversee the scheduling and execution of both face-to-face and online training sessions for employees and contractors
• Ensure accurate administration and maintenance of training records and documentation

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering discipline (desirable)
• Cert IV in Training & Assessment (advantageous)
• Significant experience in training and development, preferably within the Mining industry
• Experience in a supervisory role within training and development or an operations environment.
• Experience within a complex metallurgical plant environment (advantageous)
• High level understanding of all relevant legislation relevant to role in the mining industry in WA
• Advanced computer skills with the ability to use integrated management systems, word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet applications
• Ability to interpret and analyse data
• Strong report writing and presentation skills
• Confident communicator with senior management, legal entities, and external stakeholders
• Western Australian ‘C’ class manual drivers’ licence
