HOW YOU CONTRIBUTE TO OUR WORLD
Reporting to the Supervisor-Logistics Coordination, you will participate in the efficient and safe management of air logistics, passenger transportation and customer service for our employees. Your primary duties will be:
- Ensure compliance with the various safety rules required by Raglan Mine within our various FBOs (aviation service operators), security agencies and service providers.
- Support the Chief Pilot and Flight Engineers in all matters related to FBO ramps and flight requirements.
- Collaborate with the Human Resources department in the planning of passenger management needs.
- Plan according to demand, flight operations related to special events or flight postponements.
- Participate in the development, drafting and updating of existing procedures and processes.
- Support and replace the aviation coordinator as required in his daily tasks.
- Be present in the FBO to coordinate and enforce passengers pre-boarding operations.
- Be present and represent the logistical team.
- Be able to move in the greater Montreal area airports as required.
PROFILE REQUIRED
- High school diploma and five (5) years of relevant experience in logistics.
- Knowledge of standards governing the transportation of hazardous materials and aviation standards.
- Good command of the Office suite, SAP, Adobe, and Teams.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Working knowledge of English is required for this position.
- Working experience in aviation field is an asset.
- Experience in aircraft cargo build-up, as well as loading and unloading aircraft is an asset.
- Experience in aircraft weight and balance and load planning is an asset.
- Ability to operate a forklift truck is an asset.
- Possession of a pass for regulatory areas and a Cargo Acceptance Specialist qualification is an asset.
