HOW YOU CONTRIBUTE TO OUR WORLD

Reporting to the Project Geologists, you will have the opportunity to ensure follow-ups of the drilling and exploration field operations. Your primary duties will be:

  • Produce drilling logs, maps, and 3D follow-up of drillings.
  • Participate in data validation and drill planning, ensuring safe drilling and compliance with environmental procedures.
  • Assist in the handling of drill boxes with the loggers at the core library and the exploration technicians.

PROFILE REQUIRED

  • Holder of a bachelor's or master’s degree in Geology, Earth Science or in Geological Engineering.
  • Member of the Ordre des géologues du Québec (OGQ) or of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) or in the process of becoming one (candidate to the profession).
  • Have basic computer skills, knowledge of 2D and 3D software (QGIS, Datamine, Leapfrog and DHLogger (assets) and a facility to learn new software.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Working knowledge of English is an asset.
  • Work experience in the field of mineral exploration is an asset
