What Your Typical Week Will Look Like:
You will:

  • Plan the monthly supply of copper-based concentrate to the smelter.
  • Ensure a bridge between the sectors of the operation, the metallurgical team, and the environment department.
  • Communicate needs to various representatives of the Toronto commercial group.
  • Make decisions and anticipate all necessary measures to achieve the planning objectives decided by the management of the company.

What You Bring:

  • A commitment to Glencore’s core values: safety, integrity, responsibility, openness, simplicity, and entrepreneurialism.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical, Industrial, Process and/or Chemical engineering.
  • At least 2 years of industry experience in process engineering or an industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, with basic knowledge of statistics considered a strong asset.
  • Strong organizational skills with a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage and collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in French and English, written and spoken, is essential to facilitate regular and frequent collaboration with external suppliers, external transporters, partners, and teams, with a global, national, and interprovincial scope, on a daily basis. Proficiency of both languages allows for smooth transferral of shared documentation across countries and provinces.


Priority will be given to candidates with the right to work in Canada.
