About the Role:
Under the responsibility of the Communications and Public Affairs Manager, the person in this role is responsible for internal communications at Glencore's CCR refinery, located in Montreal-East.

Main Responsibilities include:
- Planning and Coordination of Internal Communications

- Develop and implement communication plans to support Glencore's strategic initiatives.
- Coordinate communications related to internal events, important announcements, and organizational projects.
- Content Creation

- Write, review, and distribute internal communications such as internal notices, memos, emails, and posts on internal social platforms.
- Simplify complex messages to ensure clear understanding at all levels.
- Management of Communication Tools and Channels

- Manage and maintain internal communication platforms (internal newsletter, intranet, community, bulletin boards, etc.).
- Assess the effectiveness of channels and recommend improvements as needed.
- Customer Service

- Responsible for sourcing, distributing, and providing customer service regarding promotional items internally.
- Collaboration and Consulting

- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure message consistency and alignment with initiatives.
- Provide advisory support to managers for their communication needs with their teams.
- Evaluation and Continuous Improvement

- Collect employee feedback and adjust strategies accordingly.

What You Bring:
- University degree in Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in internal communication or a similar role.
- Excellent writing and editing skills (in both French and English; bilingualism is an asset in a bilingual environment).
- Knowledge of digital communication tools and collaboration software (e.g., Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Canva).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong ability to simplify complex concepts and tailor messages for different internal audiences.
- Team-oriented with the ability to build trusted relationships.
- Creativity and ability to innovate in communication formats and approaches.
- Strong organizational skills and autonomy.
