HOW YOU CONTRIBUTE TO OUR WORLD

Reporting to the Power Plant Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to you'll have the opportunity to operate and maintain main and satellite power plants. Your main duties will be:

  • Control all operational parameters to ensure reliable energy production at all sites.
  • Control the various heat recovery systems of the generators used for heating the main buildings and drying the concentrate.
  • Produce energy and maintenance reports according to identified needs.
  • Repair and maintain the equipment of the power plants.

PROFILE REQUIRED

  • Hold a College diploma (DEC) in Marine Mechanical Engineering Technology or related discipline, combined with three (3) years of relevant experience. Any other combination of education and equivalent relevant experience may also be considered.
  • Have experience in maintenance and repair of diesel generators of similar size and type to MAN Diesel, EMD 710 et CAT 3500.
  • Have good knowledge of boilers, compressors, heat exchangers, high voltage electrical distribution systems and PLC control systems is a major asset.
  • Own a valid driver's license.
