As a Logistics Consultant, you will work with our customers to guide, implement and manage projects related to warehousing and distribution logistics, procurement, inventory management and transportation strategies.

Whether you’re a graduate or an experienced professional, we offer stimulating projects in a collaborative work environment.

  • Implement material flows and stock management (such as goods, products, or raw materials);
  • Diagnose and propose solutions to optimize inventory, reduce total costs, and improve logistics procedures;
  • Diagnose and make recommendations concerning warehouse activities and performance, including packaging;
  • Define specifications, prepare tender documents, and evaluate proposals received for handling equipment and logistics services;
  • Optimize, standardize, and document the main processes related to the sector, and participate in training;
  • Communicate the results of the analyses, both internally and to clients.

Minimum qualifications you must have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, science or operations management;
  • A strong interest in supply chain and logistics management;
  • Experience in a similar role in a manufacturing or distribution environment;
  • You are bilingual (French, English) – fluency in English is required for our international customers and our Quebec customers with international projects;
  • You are mobile and able to travel to customer sites;
  • A high sense of priorities and autonomy;
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

And our benefits in all this?

  • We are committed to promoting work-life balance. At Merkur, we have a very flexible hybrid work model. You will have the possibility of working two days from home and the opportunity to exchange ideas with your peers on the other days;
  • We operate in a non-rigid hierarchical structure and have close ties with management;
  • We offer a comprehensive integration process, feedback, and opportunities to quickly enhance your skills within a rewarding multidisciplinary team;
  • We have an internal structure that values initiative and offers stimulating challenges;
  • We place humans at the center of our business decisions and have an inclusive culture that recognizes the richness of diversity;
  • We work in an environment that promotes well-being with accessible resources for stress management, mental health, and telemedicine;
  • We reimburse contributions to a professional order;
  • We offer, in addition to statutory holidays and vacation, five additional paid days off.
