We’re offering you a great opportunity to contribute to our development as an Industrial Designer, working on precision tooling or equipment projects for our renowned customers.

What you will do in this role :

– Participate in the analysis of customer needs;
– Model and design equipment, tooling and/or jigs;
– Test technological solutions, materials and manufacturing processes;
– Validate manufacturing concepts by designing prototyping equipment;
– Analyze and propose optimizations and continuous improvements to our customers’ production methods and procedures;
– Work closely with our customers’ teams to develop effective long-term solutions.

Minimum qualifications:
– You have a completed DEC in industrial or mechanical engineering;
– You have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment;
– You are proficient in one or more 3D design software programs;
– You have knowledge of factory bottleneck estimation/simulation (e.g. FlexSim software);
– You have a sound knowledge of geometric and dimensional tolerancing and the concept of balancing and sequencing manufacturing operations;
– You are detail-oriented, self-reliant and rigorous;
– You’re mobile enough to travel to our customers’ sites (Eastern Townships / Centre-du-Québec).
