Here are the challenges awaiting you

• Develop, design and improve mechanical components and systems;
• Model and design using CAD software;
• Validate, revise and modify drawings according to manufacturing constraints, customer requirements and quality standards;
• Model in 3D and produce drawings of various mechanical systems;
• Work closely with engineering and technical teams to improve and optimize best practices;
• Develop technical design documentation, such as drawings and CAD modules;
• Participate in the development of mechanical systems by proposing innovative solutions to optimize product functionality and performance.

You are a Merkurian if…

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering OR a technical degree in mechanical engineering combined with experience relevant to the position;
• You have at least 7 years’ experience in CAD design;
• You are proficient in 3D design software (proficiency in several softwares is an asset);
• You are a member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec;
• You have a good knowledge of geometric and dimensional tolerancing.

You are distinguished by the following skills

• You have a strong sense of analysis and rigor;
• You have a keen interest in mechanical design;
• You distinguish yourself by the quality of your communications and your ability to work as part of a team;
• You are innovative;
• You are bilingual in English and French (an asset).
