What you will accomplish in this role

  • Create, modify and maintain assemblies in various fields such as mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics and electronics;
  • Define the supplies needed to carry out tests;
  • Carry out and monitor tests in the laboratory and at external sites, according to specifications, procedures and methods in force or under development;
  • Instrument components or complete vehicles in order to acquire data in accordance with engineering requirements;
  • Observe, record, compile and communicate results while ensuring the integrity of the results;
  • Analyze and identify problems, summarize and objectively compare results to specifications or other references;
  • Research, suggest, develop, adapt, challenge and collaborate in the implementation of test procedures and methods.

Essential skills sought

  • College degree in mechanical, electrical or electrical engineering;
  • Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience;
  • Experience in electronic design and strain gage installation.
  • Knowledge of CAN communication bus and data acquisition systems (an asset);
  • You are mobile and able to travel and work on a regular basis at our customers’ sites across Quebec, depending on your opportunities and your personal life;
  • You are bilingual (French/English) – fluency in English is required for our international customers and our Quebec customers with international projects.
