We are looking to strengthen our dedicated manufacturing project team with a Mechanical Designer to work on precision tooling and equipment projects for our clients.

What you will accomplish in this role:

  • Perform equipment and tooling design tasks;
  • Have a good knowledge of 3D software;
    Demonstrate an ability to propose concepts to solve various issues;
  • Collaborate in the problem-solving process with the team’s designers and engineers by proposing creative solutions;
  • Have a keen sense of mechanics and good 3D visualization skills.

Essential skills required:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree or a college diploma in mechanical engineering with a focus on design, or relevant experience in tooling and equipment design;
  • You have more than two years of experience in mechanical tooling or equipment design;
  • You have knowledge of various types of mechanical design;
  • You demonstrate a good sense of creativity and innovation;
  • You have strong design skills;
  • You stand out for your autonomy and ability to find solutions;
  • You are a Canadian citizen or permanent resident;
  • You are mobile and able to travel to our clients’ sites 5 days a week.
