Your Responsibilities
- Support production and delivery centre teams in their day-to-day operations by understanding and resolving aircraft avionics and electrical problems.
- Resolve problems and answer technical questions raised by quality managers using non-conformance reports (NCR).
- Propose corrective actions to modify engineering documents / FTP (Functional Test Procedure), with a view to achieving excellence objectives.
- Ensure compliance with MRB (Material Review Board), quality and engineering procedures.
- Working in collaboration with other engineering disciplines such as hydromechanical systems, thermodynamics, stresses, power plants, DHW, etc.
- Work in collaboration with other disciplines such as quality, logistics, methods, etc.
- Working in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing priorities.
- You have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and at least 5-8 years' experience.
- You have a solid understanding of all facets of avionics and electrical systems as they relate to integration and certification; and have a solid understanding of aircraft systems and interfaces (primary and secondary avionics, maintenance data computers, aircraft health management computers, EWIS, electrical power distribution, hydraulic power).
- You have a solid understanding of fundamental areas of aerospace knowledge such as EMIC, including electrical bonding and shielding, digital and analogue interfaces and signals, as well as aerodynamics, basic control systems and interior cabin systems.
- You will be familiar with FAR25 regulations, OEM certification and supplier design documentation, including qualification rules for avionics and electrical systems.
- Knowledge of Supplemental Type Certification (STC) principles is a definite asset.
- A solid understanding of EWIS requirements, in particular cable routing standards, cable assembly manufacturing requirements, and be familiar with navigating related documentation such as wiring diagrams, cable assembly parts lists.
- You will have previous MRB (Material Review Board) experience.
