Our client, Hydro-Québec, a producer of clean/renewable energy and distributor of electricity in Canada and the USA, is looking for a Major ICT Contracts Manager. Their vision is to assemble a collective force in Quebec to build a sustainable future.

Your Responsabilities

• Prepares and monitors the Technology Group's procurement plan, taking into account procurement policies and strategies, technical requirements and deadlines;
• Provide the expertise required to prepare and manage Technology Group contracts;
• Coordinate the preparation or prepare, as required, the various contracts and acquisitions of goods and services or professional services for the Technology Group;
• Coordinating or preparing, as required, recommendations from contract applicants and the procurement of goods and services or professional services;
• Coordinate the interface with the CSP Procurement Department for all Technology Group contracts;
• Participates in negotiations for private treaty contracts;
• Establish the Technology Group's client-supplier agreements for contracts and acquisitions;
• Represent the Technology Group's Contracts & Procurement function on various committees responsible for standardising and harmonising procedures, methods or technical or administrative directives;
• Advise contract clients on all interpretations of contractual clauses and corporate frameworks with regard to disputes, claims and litigation;
• Analysing changes to contracts and orders, devising strategies and carrying out studies to settle claims;

our requirements

• Hold an undergraduate degree (BAC) in a relevant field or any combination of experience or training deemed equivalent;
• At least 6 to 9+ years' relevant experience in the procurement and/or management of major goods and services contracts;
• Excellent knowledge of risk management and contract mitigation;
• Excellent knowledge of negotiating and/or managing strategic partnership contracts;
• Excellent knowledge of the general characteristics of information technology services and equipment;
• Good knowledge of cloud contract management;
• Demonstrated ability to understand, interpret and apply contractual clauses;
• Good knowledge of telecommunications and operational technologies would be an asset;
