Our client is a Tier 1 subcontractor to aircraft OEMs in commercial and business aviation, and a leader in designing, manufacturing, and delivering aerospace products, services, and solutions.
You will be responsible for supporting the industrial performance of your sector. You will be working with a multi-skilled team (MFT) as part of the roll-out of a new continuous improvement system.
Your Responsabilities

You will be responsible for supporting the industrial performance of your sector. You will be working with a multi-skilled team (MFT) as part of the roll-out of a new continuous improvement system.
Your Responsabilities
- Deployment of SLB (Standard line balancing): Draw up the PERT (schematisation of precedence with the MFT) & establish the work sequence for each assembler according to the rate and aircraft. Produce a balance with the options
- Production increase: Define the industrial recipe and communicate to the production managers the targets to be reached (for cycles and hours per station). Identify deviations, and help define solutions to address these deviations. Communicating project progress to the steering committee.
- Support & Analysis: Participate in progress monitoring meetings on the line. Analysing discrepancies between reality and the GLA. Suggest opportunities for improvement with the multi-trade team. Organise and carry out time captures to identify VERs and validate the status of critical paths. Drive actions to reduce VERs on the line. Set up a structure to measure assembly line performance. Compare results with budget and objectives.

- Industrial engineering (technical) background with a focus on continuous improvement or practical knowledge of assembly
- Interest in the aeronautical industry
- Good knowledge of Lean Manufaturing tools
- Mastery of the Office pack (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
- Knowledge of Power BI and notions of Industry 4.0People skills: excellent interpersonal skills, autonomy, dynamism and proactivity, taking the initiative, influencing others
- Knowledge of English
