Your Responsibilities

Your Responsibilities
- Carries out the "OK TO START" daily preventive maintenance procedure at the start of the work shift.
- Studies drawings, work orders or machining instructions to determine product dimensions.
- Operates the machine to produce compliant parts.
- Informs the manager of any non-conformities.
- Delivers the required number of finished parts in accordance with production schedules.
- Selects tooling to be used in machine operation, using knowledge of machine and production requirements.
- Inspects or measures parts using measuring instruments, such as gauges or micrometers, to ensure that they conform to specifications.
- Carry out any other tasks requested by management, depending on qualifications and experience.
- Attend all required PSM training and meetings.
- Report all events to supervisor.
- Any other duties as assigned.
- Salary up to $24.00, depending on experience.
- A daytime training schedule, from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday to Friday;
- Possibility of a condensed work schedule (A/B Shift), or the possibility of staying on the regular shift:
- Shift A/Day: Sunday to Tuesday &* Sunday to Wednesday, 6am to 6pm*.
- Shift B/Day: Wednesday to Saturday & Thursday to Saturday, 6am to 6pm

- An interest in manual work and/or experience in a manual work role;
- Ability to read and interpret plans and to use and understand all inspection tools.
- Ability to speak, read and understand basic English and French.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurement.
- Ability to carry out written and oral instructions .
