Responsabilités

• Garant de la satisfaction du client;
• Garant de la mise en œuvre des méthodes d’assurance Qualité FVR et Client pour assurer le niveau Qualité exigé jusqu’à la fin de la garantie;
• Responsable Qualité au sein du projet : responsable du niveau de qualité des délivrables client;
• En tant que membre Qualité de l’équipe projet, travaille en plateforme projet et participe à la gestion du projet;
• Représente la fonction Qualité au sein de l’équipe projet et le projet dans le service Qualité jusqu’à la clôture du projet;
• Planifie toutes les tâches « Qualité » du projet (dès l’analyse des exigences client jusqu’à la validation de la satisfaction client) et est garant de leurs mises en œuvre (plan de contrôle, plan de validation, AMDECs produit et procédure);
• Assure la relation permanente avec les services Qualité du client jusqu’aux FAIs client et accompagne les équipes Production lors du transfert du projet en série;
• Prépare avec le chef de projet les revues des projets (PMT) en synthétisant l’ensemble des actions Qualité;
• Anime le QRQC projet avec le chef de projet et est garant de sa bonne implication;
• Coordonne la préparation des visites Client avec le chef de projet;
• Gère les réclamations des clients en utilisant les méthodes de résolution de problème de FVR;
• Responsable de la Qualité des produits finis envoyés au client (y compris prototypes, préséries). A ce titre, il a l’autorité pour stopper les livraisons de ces produits s’ils sont non-conformes;
• Assure le retour d’expérience de ses projets vers les autres projets;
• Propose des améliorations du système Qualité.

Formation/Expérience/Connaissance

• Baccalauréat en génie mécanique ou génie de la production;
• 3 années d’expérience pertinente;
• Expérience significative dans une fonction d’assurance qualité projet, ou dans le domaine de l’automobile ou du transport;
• Bonne maîtrise des logiciels de la suite Microsoft Office;
• Connaissance des outils de résolution de problème de type automobile;
• Proactivité pour anticiper et prévenir les problèmes Qualité/Travail en équipe, internes/externes, avec des contributeurs de différentes fonctions;
• Besoin de leadership et sens de l’organisation/Relation client - Forte autonomie (nombreuses liaisons fonctionnelles); référence Qualité pour les projets de son domaine d’intervention;
• Doit être bilingue (français et anglais);
• Disponible pour voyager aux États-Unis à l’occasion;
• Permis de conduire valide.

We are currently looking for a Project Quality Engineer (PQE) for our site in Montreal (Ville Saint-Laurent).

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Guarantor of customer satisfaction;
• Guarantor of the implementation of FVR and Customer Quality assurance methods to ensure the required Quality level until the end of the warranty;
• Quality Manager within the project: responsible for the quality level of the client deliverables;
• As a Quality member of the project team, works in project platform and participates in project management;
• Represents the Quality function within the project team, and the project in the Quality department until the end of the project;
• Plans all the "Quality" tasks of the project (from the analysis of customer requirements to the validation of customer satisfaction) and guarantees their implementation (control plan, validation plan, product AMDECs and procedure);
• Ensures the permanent relationship with the customer's Quality departments up to the customer ISPs and accompanies the production teams during the transfer of the project in series;
• Prepares project reviews (PMT) with the Project Manager by summarizing all Quality actions;
• Animates the QRQC project with the Project Manager and guarantees its good involvement;
• Coordinates the preparation of Customer visits with the Project Manager;
• Manages customer complaints using FVR problem-solving methods;
• Responsible for the Quality of the finished products sent to the customer (including prototypes, pre-production). As such, it has the authority to stop deliveries of these products if they are non-compliant;
• Provides feedback from his projects to other projects;
• Proposes improvements to the Quality system.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering.
• 3 years of relevant experience;
• Significant experience in a Project Quality Assurance function, or in the field of automotive or transport;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software;
• Knowledge of automotive problem-solving tools;
• Proactivity to anticipate and prevent Quality problems / Team work (internal and external), with contributors of different functions;
• Leadership and organizational skills;
• Customer relationship;
• Strong autonomy (many functional connections): Quality reference for projects in its field of intervention;
• Must be bilingual (French and English);
• Available for travel occasionally to the USA;
• Valid driver’s license.
